Angels' hot streak continues in 7-3 win over Orioles

BALTIMORE - Mark Trumbo is not even halfway into his second season in the majors.

However, there has been ample time for baseball to have been misled by the Angels slow start this season.

And long enough to know how the Angels have played lately is that a good run.

"On entering the season we knew we had a very good team," Trumbo said after picking up a race and your home in 7-3 Angels victory 'in the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday.

"I think this is exactly the type of equipment is expected to have.'re Really seeing now as a dynamic that can only be if all cylinders are ongoing."

The Angels were definitely firing all cylinders Tuesday, when, at the opening of a new party, three cities, travel to hit the biggest hits of the season (17) and homers (four). I was a real team effort with all the angels who bring at least one hit and six of them received two or more.

What has helped the team win for the fifth time in six games and 12 second in 16 attempts. I can go even further back, since April 28, the Angels are one of the major leagues 35-19.

However, they can still only be always warm.

"We share more shots on this team," manager Mike Scioscia said. "I hope that as the season are beginning to see. We are receiving contributions from all parts of our team."

Tuesday that included the usual suspects - the Dominican Albert Pujols broke a square and each Trumbo and some unusual, with collector John Hester and his career high of three hits, including a homer.

For Pujols, his fifth inning blast, his 12 was the first against Baltimore Orioles Park at first. Including the World Series last fall, he hit a home run against Pujols has all the equipment except St. Louis, for which he played the first 11 years of his career, and he hit one in 32 major league stadiums.

Trumbo mammoth shot to start the eighth inning was his team that 18 years ago.

Hester curriculum is not as deep. However, with 11 wins in 12 games this month, has a career high of over 0281. Even more important is the relationship that developed with the pitcher CJ Wilson.

Hester was behind the plate in the last four openings Wilson, and the lefty has won three of them, posting an earned run average of 1.91.

"I feel like CJ and I are on the same page most of the time. The results are," said Hester.

Wilson gave the Angels a 3-0 lead going to the bottom of the fifth inning, before a leadoff home run to Steve Pearce has the Orioles on the board. But that was that Wilson would have given in seven innings, raising his season record to 9-4, and 6-2 with an efficiency of 2/3 on the road.

But Wilson, who has won his last six decisions, said Tuesday it has struggled a bit. "
