Ichiro Suzuki goes to a new computer and, after all these years, perhaps a chance to play the World Series.

The New York Yankees acquired star gardener of the Seattle Mariners on Monday in a trade two young pitchers.

The Yankees, with the best record in the majors, also make money in this operation that sent a 25-year-old right hand DJ Mitchell and Danny Farquhar for the Mariners last. The trade was announced hours before the Yankees played in Seattle.

The Suzuki 38 years old, had spent his entire major league career with Seattle. The winner of All-Star 10 times and 10 times beats Gold Glove is 0.261, with four homers, 28 stolen bases and 15 this year.

Suzuki is one of 322 career hitter, a former American League MVP and holds the record for hits in a season. There was fighting above 300 in each season to dive last year.

The only thing lacking in the curriculum of Suzuki is a World Series appearance, and can take a chance with the Yankees.

Suzuki was the American League MVP and Rookie of the Year in 2001 after a stellar career in Japan, and the Mariners reached the American League Championship this season before losing to the Yankees.

Seattle has not returned to the playoffs since.

The Yankees made the trade a few days after he learned that the gardener Brett Gardner fast, probably miss the rest of the season because of an elbow problem.

The Yankees expect that trade with the Mariners this works better than the last major agreement between the two teams.

New York has sent Jesus Montero seen young receiver in Seattle before the season for the All-Star pitcher Michael Pineda, who was wounded and later in the year.

Mitchell made his major league debut this season and has started four games of the Yankees.
