Philadelphia Flyers sign Nashville D Weber to 14-year offer sheet

The Flying Star Philadelphia have signed defender Shea Weber, a 14-year offer sheet worth more than $ 100 million.

Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren Weber confirmed Thursday that the team has signed the offer sheet to a Weber. He gave no details.

Predators co-owner W. Brett Wilson posted on Twitter: "I am aware of the supply of Philadelphia."

A restricted free agent, Weber has spent his entire career with the Nashville Predators, who have seven days to match the offer from Philadelphia, which was first reported by TSN.

If the predator decides not to match the offer, they would have received four first-round draft pick of the airmen, according to TSN.

Weber-out would be a devastating blow for a team that already lost Nashville All-Star defender Ryan Suter, who has signed a 13-year-old, $ 98 million agreement with the Minnesota Wild.

A child three times All-Star and captain of the predators in the past two years, Weber has scored 19 goals and had 49 points last season while anchoring one of the best defensive teams in the NHL.

Weber, 26, has 99 goals and 164 in his career serving seven years.
