Jason Kidd has apologized on Twitter for his arrest on a charge of drunk driving after an incident last week.
Days after signing with the Knicks, Kidd crashed his truck against a telephone pole in the Hamptons on Sunday, Southampton Town police said.
It was treated in hospital for minor injuries after the 2010 Cadillac Escalade he was driving collided with a pole and swerved into the woods around 2 am
Kidd, wrote on Friday that he regrets'' any interruption my accident last weekend may have caused members of the community, and we thank the local authorities.''
